Frequently Asked Questions
How do I request a quote?
Use the Get a Quote button on any page or email your part details to office@cncmachining.com. Include your drawings or CAD files, target quantity, material, and any tolerance or finish requirements so we can turn around an accurate estimate quickly.
What file formats do you accept?
We accept native SolidWorks files, Parasolid, .STEP, .IGES, .DXF, and .PDF. A 3D model (STEP or Parasolid) paired with a dimensioned PDF drawing gives us everything we need to quote and machine your part correctly.
What materials do you machine?
We routinely machine aluminum, stainless and carbon steels, brass, copper, titanium, and a wide range of engineering plastics. If you have a specialty alloy in mind, send us the spec and we will confirm we can source and machine it.
Do you handle prototypes and production runs?
Yes. Our machining centers are set up to run one-off prototypes as well as repeat production runs, with multiple vises and 5-axis capability to keep production parts efficient and accurate.
How fast is turnaround?
Turnaround depends on part complexity, material availability, and quantity. Once we review your files we will give you a firm lead time with your quote, and we can discuss expedited options when your schedule is tight.
Are you certified?
Yes. CNC Machining, Inc. operates to ISO 9001:2015 quality standards, and every component is verified against specification in our inspection room using calibrated CMMs, optical comparators, and precision gaging.
