Five Sides in a Single Operation

At CNC Machining, we specialize in 5-axis machining, allowing us to machine five sides of a part in a single operation. This reduces the overall number of operations, improves accuracy, and decreases run times & costs to the customer.

Another advantage is the ability to machine close-tolerance, complex 3D shapes without the workholding and fixturing problems associated with multiple operations.

Complex Parts in Fewer Operations

CNC Machining also has 3 & 4-axis machining centers. All of our machining centers are set up with multiple vises to run production parts efficiently and accurately. We can machine complex parts in one or two operations where that might otherwise take six. The result is improved quality, and reduced time & costs to the customer.

Our company approaches each project with the mindset of minimizing the number of operations, maximizing quality, and increasing efficiency. When possible, we buy our raw materials oversized so that we can machine the top and sides in the same operation as the drilling, tapping, and machining of other features. This ensures that all sides are flat, square, and parallel to one another, and allows us to hold tight true-position tolerances.

Turning, Boring, Threading & More

CNC Machining has a variety of lathes for manufacturing your parts, both large and small. Our lathes are capable of holding tight tolerances on large production runs or on single prototype pieces.

We can turn, bore, groove, knurl, drill, and tap your machined parts, as well as produce standard or custom thread sizes. Our machines are accurate, fast, and versatile.
